Bedroom Air Conditioning with External Condensing Unit

Ducted Unit With Condensing Unit
The basic ducted unit with a condensing unit is another option if you do not have the facility to vent the condenser air from your loft area, using This type of unit will also be used in an office.
The indoor fan coil unit external condensing unit will be connected together by 2 refrigeration pipes and an interconnecting electrical cable.
This ducted unit is installed with a flexible duct and grille to each bedroom requiring cooling or heating. This system will come with a central controller that can be situated in the master bedroom or in a cupboard. The temperature control for this system will be on the central return air temperature and does not take into account that each room could have a different requirement due to its orientation or occupancy level.
Central Control
A ducted unit comes with central control as standard. This will normally situated in a common area where the return air grille is situated. The temperature control for this unit is made by a sensor on the return air.
Individual Room Control
Individual room control can be achieved by using the RTC control system from Japan Electronics.
This is a radio controlled system. With a thermostat in each room, that will measure the rooms temperature, a motorised damper will open when the area requires cooling or heating and the air conditioning unit will switch on supplying conditioned air to the room. As more rooms require conditioning the fan will increase speed to accommodate, similarly as the rooms reach their required temperature the dampers will close and the fan speed decrease.
Achieving this room control, especially in bedrooms, will help everyone in the house achieve a comfortable nights sleep.
The thermostats will operate up to 30m from the receiver station so if being used commercially the RTC system can be used.
