RTC Description for individual room control
RTC DESCRIPTION

RTC Description
The RTC has been designed to give individual control of up to 6 rooms/areas/zones from 1 ducted fan coil unit.
The system is controlled by a time clock, once the clock is live the fan coil will sit dormant until a room/area/zone requires cooling or heating. When this occurs the radio thermostat will signal this to the RTC control box, the fan coil will switch on the damper to the area will open and the fan will will run on low speed. As more rooms/areas/zones require conditioning their dampers will open and the fan speed will increase, similarly as the rooms/ares/zones become satisfied so the dampers will close and the fan speed will decrease. If all areas are satisfied the fan coil and condenser will switch off.
The RTC also has a commissioning facility. On commissioning the dampers can be set to a optimum position to balance the air to the room.
This system can also be attached to existing equipment, and is very useful if an open plan office with ducted units is divided up into numerous smaller offices, giving each occupant control of their own office temperature.
